are these brake pads compatible?

I have a two pairs of Kool-Stop Eagle Claw II pads that are brand-new that I acquired for free. They have threaded posts and the packaging says "for all threaded stem brake systems." But I also see that they're designated for cantilever brakes at many online shops.

I would like to buy a set of Tektro 857AL linear pull brakes. Can I use the above Kool-Stops with these?

No. The 857ALs are V brakes. They do come with pads though.

Kool Stop also sells V-brake pads in the salmon composition, which a LOT of people seem to like (myself included).
