What's the deal with fastusaebikes.com and their 48v @ 1000W motors on aluminum forks? Aren't they going to break?

Cast vs Forged
Cast aluminum (alloy) dropouts are liable to break under front hub torques.
However ...
Forged aluminum forks (dropouts specifically) are capable of much greater abuse.

Not a good idea to have that amount of power on any front fork. It is putting all of the torque on the end of a fulcrum arm that is only attached to the frame in one point. Poor design from an engendering point of view. It is just a matter of time before the fork or headset fail.
