Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

That is the coolest bike I have ever seen. I'm not being mean; that is the Cat-in-the-Hat bike.

Heheh. She hadn't ridden since she was in 5th grade and broke her kneecap. She said she'd never ride again. When she finally came around, she wanted a bike that she could easily get on and off of. I suspect that sometime down the road she'll go for something a little more high performance, but she loves her Biria right now.

You should get in touch with cuda (Jon) as his wife has just started riding and you guys would make a nice foursome.

Maybe at some point. As it is, there are some people (Scottstr & Yo Spiff) that are much closer to me and we are in the process of setting something up.

Bike Near Water(2)

Bike with water bottle and bike near water. Chain stay protector has been removed, but I still ride with an upright geometry for comfort on distances.

2009 Giant Defy 3.
On the Capitol Crescent Trail on the way to Georgetown, D.C. Cool canal. Just out of sight to the right is a paved trail.

I have seen a lot of cool pictures of bikes near the water. None have a space shuttle in them and a bike.
