FS: Various Dura Ace 7400 parts in mostly excellent condition
Update: everything is sold
These are Dura Ace 7400 components in excellent condition, with a couple of exceptions. If you buy more than one, I will take off $10 for each additional item you buy.
Bottom bracket - $15 shipped
113mm spindle. English threads I believe.
The worst of the group. The lockring is pretty mangled. The races are not pitted but a little bit of storage rust needs to be polished off them. The bearings look good as do the tapers. Comes with crank bolts.
Downtube shifters - $30 shipped
Lightly used. Anodizing is in great shape. Rear can be used in friction or SIS mode.
Brakeset - $50 shipped for the set
These are basically new. A tiny storage scratch on the bottom of one of the caliper arms.
Front derailleur, braze-on (comes with clamp-on adapter) - $35 shipped
Basically new. A little rubbing on the inside plate. Besides that looks unused. Comes with a 31.8mm clamp-on adapter if you need it. Pivots and spring are smooth.
Rear derailleur - $40 shipped
Short cage. A few scratches in the anodizing here and there, but looks basically unused. Pulley bearings are smooth, as are pivots and spring.

I'm tempted to buy the whole lot. I actually have the crank and the hubs oddly enough.
Are these 7 speed? And isn't this pretty finicky? Dura 7 speed has to be mated to a dura RD?

According to a comment on Velobase (YMMV) the 7400 rear derailleur 6sp indexing only works with 7400 shifters, not with any other 6 speed Shimano shifters. Something to do with the cable pull.
Also I just looked at the brakes and they are labeled 7402 with a 39-48mm reach range, if that helps. They are both recessed nut. The rest of the components are labeled 7400.

These should be 6 speed if trying to index. I believe Dura Ace 7401 was the 7 speed option.

And IIRC that color shift lever is the 7401 7s, but you should be able to see the speed under that d-ring, I think.

DA 74xx 6,7,8s are all interchangeable, but only among themselves (except if you want to use any Shimano 9s in 8s mode, but that rabbit hole is outside this discussion).
