Update on Hit and Run!

Suspect arrested. I haven’t gotten a more recent update on Robert Jordan but I saw a picture of him huddled with some of his riding buddies.

Robert is my sister’s brother in law.

Unfortunately, the damage has been done. The consolation is that this individual will not be out hitting any other cyclists . I hope Robert is making progress in his recovery, blessings.

I think they identified him a long time ago, so it was just a matter of time before they caught up with him. I hope they throw the book at his sorry arse.

Prayers for Robert, family, and speedy full recovery!
I hope Gregory has lots of time behind bars to think about the direction of his life and deeds.

Mr Lucas was arrested and released on a $10,000 bond. According to his sister he DID appear for his August 1 court date but I cannot find any records on that just yet. There were tons of cases scheduled for that date so I’m assuming his case was postponed.

I don’t have any additional details on Robert’s progress although I understand that his wife has taken him for treatments in Massachusetts. I may have already mentioned that they had to sell the Dance studio which was their business.

$10K bond was way too low, but at least the SOB did show up.

It is rather ironic that bail was issued when in fact a component of his original crime was not showing up. I guess I would think that there is a pattern here.
