And I'm gonna keep doing it too, until you apologize!
I kid... there's so much nonsense on strava it's not worth getting worked up about. Most of it appears to mountain bike riders who apparently start and stop their garmin at home after driving each way to ride.

OK, in the pantheon of "how does even work" I don't know... these things are positively wispy with 16F and 20R spokes. I used to have mavic open pros back in the day and with 32 spokes I couldn't keep them true. Crazy. These are shimano ultegra wheels and nashbar was unloading them last winter so I said, ok! I guess I can give them a whirl.
The excessive amounts of brown in the photo tell you I was in SoCal at the time. Can't quite figure out what town that is - not San Clemente, because I was looking at the bridge with the "welcome to San Clemente" sign, not San Juan Capistrano, not Rancho Mission Viejo... can't figure it out. Unwanted.

I would say you were in San Clemente

From north to south, Newport Beach, Laguna Niguel, Dana Point, San Clemente, the nothingness of Pendleton, Oceanside.
San Juan Capistrano doesn't actually touch the ocean, so Capistrano Beach is in Dana Point. All those little places in between are just parts of bigger places-- Balboa, Corona del Mar, etc.

Amazing - there's no evidence of humanity where I was standing but if you scroll out in that sky view, there are tons of houses on either side of the hills. Packed in like little sardines.

@TrojanHorse On La Pata, long before you see the bridge, there's a sign that looks like this:
Edit: This is the ACTUAL sign.

There is also text on the bridge that says City of San Clemente. According to Google maps the city limit is a ways north on La Pata, so you were likely in San Clemente.

The rest of you can go pound sand with your "you were in san clemente" nonsense.

I WISH it was one of the breweries ... last time I was at the mother ship, I ate at Board and Brew ... so I did my part while I was there

Yeah, it's white, has black "PINARELLO" writing all over it (in case you forget). Easily, and frequently, cleaned. Including the day before this picture as taken.
I have some black bartape in hot standby for when I inevitably need to replace that stuff.
Got some of this:
Cinelli Hobo Alphabet
And some of this:
CInelli Mike Giant bartape
The hobo alphabet one is sort of off white so it may end up on my roubaix when THAT one needs a fresh tape job.

My wife's bartape is white and fuzzy in nature (not really but I can't think of a better way to describe it) and it attracts all manner of dirt. Mine is sort of "sealed" feeling and stays clean pretty easily.
The black pinarello lettering where I rest my hands all the time is starting to fade & smear but that ain't dirt man.

I think I tolerated the white bar tape that came on the Cervelo for about 4 rides. Maybe 5. When I unwrapped it, the difference in color between the part under the wrap and the part exposed to the hands was... significant. There's no such thing as clean white bar tape, unless it's still in the packaging at the store.
It makes a good underwrap, for when you want to double-wrap the tops.

Shh, you're wrecking my story.
Maybe I should just leave it in place and overwrap it now. I'm not particularly keen on white bartape anyway.
