Try this again, it’s the stupid auto correct on my iPad, changes it to carbon! Ignore the other thread.
Happy New Year everyone! Keep turning the pedals and talk about it (or anything else) here.

Moment of panic last night - updated the firmware on the power meter I have on my trainer bike and it bricked. No problem, put the new one I got for christmas on there (the one on the trainer bike is intended for my outside bike anyway) and it didn't work either.
after guidance from 4iiii, reversed the battery in the battery well for a bit, replaced the battery and now all is well.
Carry on.

So much jet lag. Cannot get on trainer!
i did fix the flat on my trainer tyre (bad patch!) and sort out the Fulcrums on the Bianchi. Do I get credit for not being a complete bum?

First ride of the new year. 87-1/2 miles, about 4K feet, and got back before the rain. Was a bit chilly today, my Garmin data says average temp was 49, but wind was light and it was a fun group to ride with.
I knew I didn’t do any centuries last year but was a bit dismayed when I looked at my Strava year end to see my longest 2018 ride was 70 miles. Glad to beat that record!

dope vaca in AZ...no bike too cold for that mess
than my truck broke 500 miles from home while in Sedona/ Flagstaff. Been at the dealership since friday morning, was to be repaired Saturday by end of day but the new water pump they installed is leaking coolant. Better they find it there than me on the side of the road. Flagstaff got hit with another foot of snow Saturday night, we booked it down hill to Phoenix, I'm here two nights. I have to drive the comp rental back up to Flagstaff tomorrow to get my truck and drive another 500 miles home.

Yow. That’s some car issues. I17 in the snow can be fun and exciting; I’ve spun into the median there before, following a lot of other cars.
Good luck!

Drove from Phoenix to Flagstaff to get the truck back from Toyota dealer. Turned around and Drove to Phoenix -> Yuma -> San Diego.....the I8 in AZ is the most boring and straightest road on this planet for 100 miles. At least the sunset was dope!
played in the snow on Schnebly Hill from Flagstaff to Sedona, I didn't drive the entire length of it.

I've been slacking off also but that's coming to an end soon because I've committed to a couple of upcoming long rides and am comtemplating a double double in March.

Yeah, somebody climbed halfway up Everest during the Festive. I averaged 23 feet a mile during the Festive, and will pass 300 miles for 2019 tomorrow.
After 4 years of riding, I managed to build a local route that can get me 15, 20, 25, or 30 miles depending on where I make a couple of turns... and the hilliest route is under 1,300ft. It's fantastic.

Haha true!! Though my body isn’t tired, I just split my vacation time up that way. 1 week for the festive fun rides and 2nd vacation week was family road trip to AZ, flagstaff, Sedona, Grand Canyon, Phoenix. If my truck didn’t break I was to visit mom in Vegas. But flags got a blizzard like storm Saturday night so we headed down hill to Phoenix for two days.
I’ll try to get on my lunch regiment tomorrow, and likely on my Singlespeed. Just cuz I hate my legs some days Hahaha!! 20 mile 1300ish climbing loop. Past two days been meetings right after lunch hour. I hate going into those fresh of the bike..eeww
