Trek 6500 Mountain Bike with new tires - $1000 (Burnsville, MN)

https://minneapolis.craigslist.org/d...659048494.html

Trek 6500 mountain bike with new tires ($150 just for the tires).
Notes : shifters need adjusting. Front tube is flat and need replacement ($10-15). Shocks work well and the bike is very rideable.

Do not contact for any other reason.
Yes, the bike is for sale if you're reading this.
The price is FIRM and offers will not be responded to.
Cash only, no exceptions.
LMAO! This guy must be smokin' the big one. Even my '97 and '99 7000's aren't even close to that amount!

Guy's local to me.

Not sure why he thought it was worth the listing fee to post a bike with obvious front-end damage. The parts aren't even worth that much.

From The Land Of The Giants

1979's DeRosa - $850 (Saxapahaw)

"Old school

1970's DeRosa Super Prestige

61cm

Dura ace components

Great condition just dirty"

https://raleigh.craigslist.org/bik/d...660795845.html

(I know, I know, save for the saddle, seatpost and stem, it's a fine red DeRosa, and the price may even be somewhat near fair. It has to be closer to 65cm. If a seller is going to present a nice rider in such a fashion, they should at least have the decency to essentially give it away. If I posted this before, please pardon me. Brain not working today,)

The language is full of words the definition of which has strayed from the derivation, often resulting in paradoxes. We drive on a parkway and park on a driveway. "Bikers" ride motorcycles, while "cyclists" ride bikes. Traffic creeps during rush hour. The one clean-shaven guy in ZZ Top is named Frank Beard.
