Atlanta, Knoxville, Nashville, or Huntsville? Just curious is all. I have a neighbor that was the graphic designer for Litespeed back in the day but that's about all the classic bike guys I've found locally so far.
I've been here a year and figured I'd ask. I need to start going to swap meets around here and don't know any of them.

ATL here. We actually have a few members in the ATL area. There was chatter about a lunch a couple years back. https://www.bikeforums.net/classic-v...-proposal.html
But it never came to fruition. Since then, a couple of others have moved nearby.

Atlanta here as well.
I don't post/contribute here much, but let's just say bikes are my job and I travel around the region, and Chattanooga is a pretty bike-friendly place so I'd expect there to be a fairly strong C&V crowd?
Otherwise, Atlanta meetups are probably your best bet.

I've largely dropped out of the C&V scene but I'm just North of Atlanta. I've had occasion to head up to Chattanooga for some facilitation, picked up a raleigh mtb a few months ago.

I'm in Cleveland. I do not know of any bike swap meets in these parts, but if you scare something up close by let me know and I'll meet you for coffee and a walk about. Cheers!

Birmingham here. Don't know of any swap meets anywhere nearby, unfortunately. Used to get to Huntsville a bit when I was officiating, but that's in the past. I don't see many DT shifters on any of the rides I do or help organize.

I'm in Chattanooga. Don't know of any swap meets, but you know we have the Resource Bike Coop on Glass street. Look at their Facebook page.

I'll be in Chattanooga for the week of Thanksgiving. Does the coop have a decent selection for good prices?

I don't know what you're looking for. Co-op stuff tends to be more low end, but the last time I was there was a basso frame with a broken chain stay in the window -- might be worth fixing, I don't know. It's a good place to check out, anyway.

The Co-op in Birmingham, Redemptive Cycles, gets some surprisingly higher end stuff sometimes... it ebbs and flows.

Thanks all. Yeah I thought about scaring up some sort of swap meet around here or what I like to call a "renegade random gathering of like minded enthusiasts". It used to be the best way to sell, trade, or whatever was needed to get rid of crap and acquire someone else's crap.
Nice to get to know you all, I may have to refer back to this thread to organize something around here. AND, thanks for the tip on the Co-op, I have a few kid bikes I can give to them.
