Just went KOM hunting, was feeling pretty loose and thought I could bag a couple. Not even close, one of them I got a top 5 finish. But the KOM has 20 seconds on my effort. In my defense I have slight brake rub and I feel a little bit bloated, but Strava shows this guy doing 35 mph across flat ground.
I don’t see how this is physically possible.

One of the segments I can see it. Your on a quarter mile straightaway before the segment starts. But the other one you have to make a pretty sharp turn before it starts. And it’s a stop sign, where cars are almost always present. No way you could make that turn at that speed imo.

This afternoon I was again bundled up on the tractor, contemplating the mysteries of life.
A terrifying thought hit me: What if 2020 is another year without a summer?
I mean, why not--everything else bad is happening. Add this to all the other plagues.
You people must have really upset the gods.

I've been doing that for 3 weeks. At least now I only have to do it once a day. Well technically twice in the a.m. and then twice in the afternoon. We were doing it twice a day for the first 2 weeks. The co. Even bought me a thermometer. Now its just twice in the morning.
There's a whole online questionnaire I have to fill out every morning, and list both of my morning temp readings.

I guess I shouldn't tempt fate and tease you too much more, though. Hurricane season is right around the corner.

Time for you to work on that short term power if you're going to go after those.

It was OK through the first week of April. The last month has blown donkey balls. There was literally a whole week in January that was warmer than tomorrow will be.

Noah just stole my KOM. 40 mph tailwind... Lordy. I didn't even know I had it, and I set it back in 2012. I must have been fast that day.

Yes, that does sound unpleasant.

I've been good. Except I still don't have a mask.
Reminds me. Today I saw a cyclist (not road, though he was riding on the road) with a mask. He had on a yellow jacket and a green helmet, like an Oregon Duck.
