I don't think the e-bikes have enough power for sand, never tried it. This one only has a 250 watt kit, just enough for a little boost uphills and maybe hit 10 - 12 MPH on a flat.

A 2-wheel drive machine. I'd definitely try it in some sand and see how capable it may be.

There are plenty of different brands of ebike that are beach and sand capable. All they need is some fatter tires, and lowered air pressure. And tons of riders use human power alone, so 250 watts is more than sufficient. An electric motor just adds to the fun. Look it up a bit,...I'm sure it's worth the research.

I tried some sand on my Rad Mini and it did not fare too well, even at a slow gradual application of throttle it stopped and the wheel buried itself. Granted I did not have low psi in the tires, this little e-bike is great on trails,grass etc., I thought with the 3.3 tires it would be better. I'm sure I'll have a run at it again

You will want single digit air pressure for sand and hit it running.

Yes, it's best to have speed and try to ride "on top" of the sand. I think of it like water skiing. If you don't get up and on top of the sand, you're just plowing along.
