1987 Raleigh Seneca Mountain Tour

Here is my 1987 Raleigh Seneca Mountain Tour. I am the original owner, bought it in 1988. Kept mostly indoors all these years. Just had a tune up this week and had the bike shop out different handlebars on it for me as the straight bar was a killer on my older back.

Yes repaint is complete. White primer, coat of white paint followed by two coats of pearl mist and three of clear gloss. It’s coming together for sure. New decals ready Thursday.

Finding the parts to do this color scheme was much more difficult.

It’s called the Midland Tunnels. It’s on the old Midland Railroad along the Arkansas River outside of Buena Vista, CO. They are pretty tame.

The fork is a little soft and could use a rebuild, but it is rideable. Before I found this one, I had never heard of a UAV. It's a pretty good ride.

For those less common old sizes, you will find origin8 and uno/Kalloy are the only remaining manufacturer of new in anything other than silver (just black). Scour ebay for the xc post, or search at local co op for a placeholder.
You could consider posting in the ISO thread in C&V with the expectation that you'll trade something for what you need.

You can also find stuff on eBay in the XLC brand. I have a 25.8mm two-bolt XLC post on my old Schwinn road frame. Now that you mention it, my other bike, a vintage MTB, has a 26.4mm (IIRC) two-bolt Origin8 seatpost.
