Any online stores sell bike shorts for 6-7 yr old kids

Do they need to be cycling specific? When I was a little kid I could ride all day long till called home for supper and never had a sore butt. I wasn't wearing anything remotely considered cycling type clothes.

Don't the local sporting goods stores have some close fitting shorts in a stretchy material that maybe are just generic sports clothing?

More out of curiosity

his new seat is pretty firm and he rode 10 miles last week and complained a little so i weas lookin g around for something more comfortable for him to wear
