Got “Grapezilla” back from Tandem Outfitters !!
Jason at Tandem Outfitters did a fantastic job on our Santana Sovereign and we took it out today for its first journey since we dropped it off to him. Carbon handlebars, rear shock stem, Spinergy wheelset with Continental 4 Seasons, removed the stoker brake handle and the redundant rear caliper brake, carbon neck stem for the stoker and a short high angle one for the front.
We hit 23.8 on a flat with a bit of headwinds and are convinced 25 was easily achievable with no winds. The bike was lighter and felt easier to control, better seats than before, just a better bike.
