Showing my x-rays to a friend today. The pin only goes to halfway between the top and middle knuckle-- across the cut That's what I'd thought. But, having seen it pre-stiches, it appeared to be through the middle knuckle. And there were stitches across that knuckle too. I was thinking it went all the way down. So, when I feel the phantom bending of the middle knuckle, it might not be phantom after all.

Will do. I'm not terribly worried- I figured it would be a wait, and it's not exactly a critical part anyway. I'm going to give it another week or so and if there's no status update I'm going to build with what I have and just add the PM whenever it shows up.

The only thing worse than July/August heat in Phoenix, is hearing the complaints from people that aren't natives.
Please go back to wherever you came from.
This isn't directed at you specificly Lester. I'm just voicing my opinion, before it gets hot here.

I did live in Flag late 80s early 90s, wouldn't mind that again, or Williams.
Def getting out of the valley soon. Might have to tough out the whole summer though.
Luckily it looks like tomorrow will be the last ****ty day for a while.

I grew up north of Boston, but I'm done with that weather.
Please don't move to Florida. That state is a ****ing mess.

It gets even hotter in Needles. I used to flight instruct out of Bull head, Needles and then North Las Vegas. In needles it would get so hot, I could smell my gasoline evaporating out of my car. I would recharge my AC and it would only last 24 hours. It was a lot of fun.

I did that by accident one day when a storm was blowing in and I was doing 30mph uphill.

It's ok if you want something meat-ish that does not have meat in it. I think the "Impossible Burger" is even a closer fascimile.
I tried both, but honestly if I want a "veggie burger" I am much happier with one that is made of beans and veggies and mushrooms and tastes like veggies rather than fake meat.

I like a good veggie burger, but I get tired of the same heavy-on-the-cumin black bean patty that everyone seems to serve. You know, when you could go to restaurants.

I'm no Campy expert, but isn't that group a little old to be on that frame? Looks weird.
Definitely high, IMO. That's a fairly normal price for an older one that's in cherry condition with all original parts, though.

The Cub was an absolute pig with two adults in the North Texas summer, and that's not even as hot as you're talking.
In other Cub related news, my dad had to pull the C-85 due to chronic low oil pressure, and since the crank has already been ground once he's going to throw in a O-200 crank. Should take the little engine from 85 to about 100-110 horsepower

For once i’m ahead in the club.
So every ride I am getting brake rub on the front rotor. I usually stop loosen the wheel and re tighten the wheel and it magically goes away, until I need to use the front brake again. When looking at my pads and rotor head on, the rotor is extremely close to the outside pad. What do I need to do about this?
