Most days of continuous cycling?
What is the most days you've done of continuous cycling? For:
1) Work / commute purposes; and/or
2) Recreation
For me, it's nine days in a row of hoping on the road bike after work and going for a ride. Cheers.

Back when I was commuting to work I once rode 45 consecutive days. Probably did about 3600 km during that time

Lost count. Think I'm on about 2 months for sure. But it could be more. 56 days. Current situation means I'm riding more outside of my normal commuting miles.
But I'm not really keeping track. I just ride if I feel like it and at the moment I feel like riding a lot more.

I went around 90-100 days several years back, combined commuting and weekend ride days. Some people have done 10 years or more.
Eventually I realized taking a day off every now and then made riding more fun. And since my priorities are now fun, utility, fun, health, fun, and environmental impact -- I don't obsess about it any more.

I like doing the daily thing. I'm just getting back to cycling in the last few months but I'm currently at 958 days, including running (most of that is running). Previous to the current streak I was at 1494 days of running but kidney stones and then a kidney stone removal procedure took me out of commission for 5 days. I find "streaking" fun.

For years, I've ridden to work and back every day that is not a weekend or holiday. In terms of continuous riding, it would be thirteen days when I spend a weekend on Ocracoke Island, which has no rental cars.

A couple of years back when I lived car-free I was on my bike almost 365 days per year. It was commuting, errands/shopping, visiting people and recreational rides on the weekends. I only took few days off around christmass holidays.

And yeah, I overdid it. Really bad. Learned all about overtraining through personal experience. Took ~6 months to get back to pre-streak capabilities.
Riding every day can be easily done, provided that a keen eye is kept on duration and intensity. I did neither of those things.

In 2017, I rode 236 days in a row. In that span, the least was 5 miles and the most was 102. I hit 6000 miles for that year. Both the consecutive days and the yearly mileage are highs for me. I remember just before starting the 236 days, I read an article from a fellow that had not missed a day, riding at least an hour, in over 9 years.

My wife and I rode across the U.S. from Newport, Oregon to Boston, Massachusetts; riding the the 3700 miles in 74 conecutive days. That was an average of 50 miles per day. I was in my early 60s, and my wife was a little younger

I had 18 days in a row in January 2020, 551 for the month. A little less in February, then the coronavirus hit the fan, and I'm down to under 300 a month, probably 2 or 3 days a week, if I'm lucky.

Probably only 3 or 4, then only at the beginning or end of the season when it gets or was too cold.
At 81 and for several years now I have found that it is better to just ride ever other day, and have a day of recovery in between. Doing that I have found that there are fewer days when your legs just have have that "heavy" feel.
