(Only things I know of Cannondale are: nice bags and train station.)
Sweet bike for a hundred clams. A $100 Cannondale up here would have a cracked/dented frame, left outside all its life, faded, dirty, grimy, and just plain pooched. All this, IF you could find one.

I know it's more than worth it, this R800 is up for $150, which I'm sure someone local could flip for twice that without lifting a finger. Guy has an Apollo also, just not as valuable, seems to sell a wild variety of stuff, like maybe they own a storage container farm.

Still talking myself out of it given how much I like my SR500 but it's not remotely close to my size and I literally have zero space after someone nearby coughed up a 48cm mid-80s Trek 500 frameset this past weekend. https://offerup.com/item/detail/796958282/

The wheel/tire doesn't appear to be very friendly with the fork, either, given that the front tire isn't inflated.

Edit: looks like the front QR isn't seated.

Nice bikes, all of them, but I seem to be getting sweaty over this one, even if it's too big. Current bid is $26(!).

Sorry, I don't know how to get the flippin' CL pics to post. People really think a lot of their bikes.

Francophile, #53354 Romana's were all over Blooomington in 1971. Brought in as an import to try to fill the void in one of the shops. Good bikes but only worth about $150 due to age. Smiles, MH

I should've pointed that out. Aside from that, the fork looked a little tucked up to boot, and I noticed the different tire in front so you never know what you may get.

I may still ping the guy about it. Turns out the Trek I picked up had jacked up shifter boss. After removing the levers I noticed you could wedge a fingernail between the square of the boss and the DT. Then, with one little push, it snapped clean off. I went ahead and removed the other boss gently and I'll probably donate the frameset to the Co-Op for someone to build up into a fixie. Nice light frame, got the stuck stem out but mangled it, I'm just hoping I got enough in parts to break even and make a few bucks.

One old school approach is to click on the CL pic to embiggen it, copy the address of the photo, and preface it with "the symbol for bracket, [, img then ] with no spacing, followed by the same with a slash before the img, or (img)picaddress(/img) with brackets, [ ], for the curved rounded parentheses.

On the Fuji front, I think this is a tad expensive, but I'm a tightwad, and you literally NEVER see vintage "Newest" and only occasionally "Finest" Fuji models in this condition. Price is actually probably very fair for what it is, and this is totally my size, and I love how it looks, but I'm out of room and like I said ... I'm a tightwad.

Do I paste it into Link or Photo? I've tried copying 'image location' with zero luck. Thanks for the tutorial. Nevermind! Thanks!!

Trek 3700 $80. Blech. I lost interest the minute they went to aluminum.

Folks sharing this opinion is why I never bothered with getting a Cannondale. That said, as I've said about a thousand times around here, maybe even within the last half-dozen posts in this thread, I totally love my mid-80s Cdale SR500. I never bothered with aluminum bikes, welded or bonded, and I'm kicking myself in hindsight for avoiding them like the plague.

I emailed him to see if he would ship. If anyone wants to facilitate, I am interested. I have been looking for a Tesch for a while. This looks to be on the smaller end of what will fit me, but I think I can make it work.

These are rare enough, all they would have to do is drop at a bike shop.

I would start a dedicated thread asking for help and ask in the facilitator thread.

With the Campy NR/SR bits, that is an attractive price. And I love the Star Wars helmet/creature head badge:

Price keeps dropping on this Colnago in DC. Now $400, which seems like a deal to me:

See if the seller can get it to Adventure's Edge or Revolution Bicycles; either might be willing to pack and ship for you.
