Tubular rimsets

I know that there are newer wheel options and that tubulars are on the wan. Having said that I have a good few tubular wheelsets. Just wondering about values if I sold some of my nicer sets? Obviously they would need to be cleaned a bit more polished before sale but hubs have been rebuilt,. Would hate to have to tear them down for hubs

Mavic 8 speed with Dura Ace hubs.

Synthesis Durex with Campagnolo Record

have two more sets with Superbe hubs (one set of Ambrosio Synthesis and one set of Nashbar) but no photos handy.

And just for laughs the odd one out.

Ride them. Old tubulars don’t draw a lot of attention. Clean them up really good and put them on eBay and see is anyone bites. Those Dura Ace wheels might appeal to someone with a late 80 Dura Ace ride

@bianchigirl. I have about 7/8 wheelsets and some used and brand news tires. Was planning on setting up a few sets for me because most of my rides are with in 10 miles of my home so if I flat, no big deal. Just wondered what kind of price I could ask for the extra sets? Shipping a wheelset can get costly quickly so might not be worthwhile for buyer and I have never seen tubular wheels sold locally...

Ok- Will keep the nicest ones and strip out the spare sets. I'm sure having a few spare Superbe hubs will come in handy.

I don’t know about no attention , it got my attention . What is the spacing on the Matrix ? Also 700c ? Well anyhow , I think 400-500 for the Matrix . Or better yet cut @texaspandj a smokin’ deal , he could use it on one of his tri bikes .

Yes, details on the matrix disc wheel. 700c, freewheel or cassette?

Sorry. Never thought to check spacing. All rears are 126mm except one hub (no name on hub) which is 130mm. All were 8 speed freewheel hubs

Matrix is an 8 speed freewheel and also 126.

Ps assuming joking on a high value for the Matrix wheel! I knew that BITD they weren't cheap but thought they were now ancient technology.

You sure about the 126mm wheels being for 8-speed? I don't think you'd have room for the whole freewheel unless the wheel was really really dished.

Pretty sure the disc wheel is also tubular and not 700C wired-on.

+ 1. I've never seen a 126 mm wheel that could take an 8 speed freewheel.
