Trek value
I have what I believe is a 2009 model.
Its a trek madone 4.5. In really good shape and always kept inside.
not sure of the size but I am 5’11” tall and was purchased for my height.
i don’t use it anymore but not sure what to ask for it.
Thanks for your help.

This is one source to get a general idea; https://www.bicyclebluebook.com/valu.../product/17535
You can check ebay to see if there are completed sales for similar year/model.
What is the cycling culture in your area? More cyclist generally higher prices, few and far between generally lower prices. For some people it has name recognition going for it.
Ready to ride without repairs or maintenance needs, helps the value.

I sold my 2011 Trek Madone 4.6 back in 2015 for $1100 and was lucky to get it. I'd guess yours is somewhere $800-$500.

Clean it with soap and water and shine it up with a soft cloth. Put it outside in the direct sunlight and take about a dozen pictures. Advertise on Craigslist. Upload pictures. Ask for your dream price first day. Next day drop price $25. Continue dropping price everyday to you get to the least amount you will take. Delete ad. Start over. ............. I've had a hard time selling old bikes lately. But, I got rid of two recently. Completely different bikes. Both sold for exactly $185. Don't pay any attention to Bicycle Blue Book. It's BS. Be good. Have fun.
