There is patina. And then, there is rust. I'm not sure I'd give $4 for that bike. Regardless what the head badge says.

whaha not even for 4$. rusted, clapped out, originally a very low end bike (judging by the candle model seat pin, hardware store seat bolt, wing nut front wheel, eyelets). Run and hide.

I know you've defended this guy in the past, but does he ever sell anything? I think he's reposted this for 6 months. And I love how he changes location on a weekly basis to throw the hounds off the scent.

It's a "Pinarello," but not the Pinarello. It absolutely did not come out of the bike making operation in Treviso, Italy. I think it's a German bike - and not a particularly nice one. In fact, this is surely the most disappointed I've ever been after clicking on a "Pinarello" thread.

lol - i bet

call me crazy - not $400 worth of crazy mind you - but i like this ol rusty bike - something primal about it
like you could take it out in the winter slop and not sweat it
but i have never ridden fixie so i dont even know if i would like it
especially with my area being so hilly
anyway - seller is a good dude imo and his prices are typically pretty fair imo
i have been happy in my dealings w him too

not sure on that - i guess you have seen his collection

you know - w/ used bikes - its always buyer beware - you gotta check as thoroughly as you can but you never know suprises you might get

i picked up the voyageur and he told me up front that it had a stuck seatpost - i picked it up anyway and havent even messed w the post because the position of it is where i would have it anyway - he could have kept that to himself - maybe other sellers might have claimed to not have known so i appreciated that

I've picked up bikes from the curbside trash in better condition than this. Pass. It's not a real Pinarello, and even if it were, I'd still be concerned about it disintegrating under me.

Well, the Expedition is one bike that hasn't been relisted, so maybe it sold. It had obviously had a frontal impact. I don't blame the guy for wanting to make a buck, as it's nearly impossible to make much flipping bikes, but his prices are way over market. But hey, it's a free country. I really have no problem with it other than the CL spam, which does get annoying sometimes.

BTW, what size bike do you ride? I probably have a few in your price range!

I was kidding, though I do have some bikes and frames I'm bringing to sell at the Trexlertown swap. You should come check it out if you haven't ever attended.

+1 to all above. It's not a Pinarello and it isn't worth $400.

The Wizard was a relatively inexpensive way to deal with the Confente jones. It's all relative. I hope to be there, but no guarantee at this point.

(I also now own the yellow Grandis, so I took care of that jones, too.)
