identify what tyres will fit my rims
I have "CUBE RA 0.8, 32H, Disc" rims. nothing amazing but they do the job and do it well.
Currently have Schwalbe G-One Allround, Kevlar, 40-622 tyres.
Im considering trying something thinner, maybe 32mm.
Can i tell from those numbers on the rim if 32mm tyres will fit?

622 is the diameter of the rim where the tire sits, commonly known as a 700C or 29" rim. technically, any tire labeled 700C or 29" will fit the rim. the idea tire for your application depends on where and how you ride the bike, now wide the rim is, and how much clearance for tires is in the frame and fork. if you want a narrower tire, I am pretty sure a 700C, 32mm tire will fit.

The 0.8 is probably rim width in inches.
That could be interior, which is 21mm, so you have 622 x 21c rims.
But some marketeers put outside rim width, which probably means 622 x 17c rims.
So measure the inside width of your rims to confirm. Check ERTO tables.
According to ERTO you can mount 35-622 through 62-622 tyres on 622 x 21c rims.
You can mount 25-622 through 52-622 tyres on 622 x 17c rims.
(Frame clearance obviously comes into play with the larger tyres.)
So that’s the technical answer. But many people here will tell you that ERTO tables are balderdash, and you can mount narrower or wider tyres so long as they are *-622.
FWIW, Cube sells their bikes with those rims with tyres between 35-622 and 40-622.
