I felt like I needed a rest as well but had the last three days off so I slept in and rode in the afternoon. I ended up feeling better and riding further. So today is day 34 and I hit 20 miles again. Back to work tomorrow, I decided to not get up at 5:30am tomorrow and try to ride after work in hopes I'll be able to ride further without the time constraints. We'll see.

Well I rode after work and I have to say it was a great ride in the dark but I prefer mornings as I stressed all day about riding. Anyhow I got day 35 done with a ten miler. I'll try to get back on the early morning track tomorrow.

I didn't ride this morning, but yesterday I rode an additional 6 1/2 miles so I think that makes up for it a bit. This morning was just one of those mornings when I felt too tired to get out of bed at 5 AM.

That's the way I feel every day, I don't get out until 9 AM or later.

To get back on track I had to ride last night after work and then again this morning. I got it done for day 36 but it was definitely a tired ride this morning.

I’m at around 185 days. Riding 1,000 days in a row is quite a commitment. Seems like life would eventually get in the way before I could ever get that many in a row.

Totally agree! Can you imagine how ticked off you'd be about whatever it was that made you break a streak like that?

Got 20 miles in today for day 39! Strong headwind for the first ten but oh so nice when I turned around to head back.

Got to day 40! Decided to start a "Streaking" thread for everyone who may be on a long streak so that's where I'll be posting now. This has been a great challenge for me, got me back into riding and I've lost 13lbs so far. I hope anybody else that joined the challenge has gotten something positive from it.

Belated Update.

My streak of continuous days has ended. I began on August 10th and my last day of minimum 10 miles daily was October 9th. The streak ended due to a trip in the car. I have ridden must of the days since but, late sunrise and freezing temperatures and snow/rain have interfered.

I installed Strava on my Phone August 28th and since then I have logged 669 miles.
