Got a pair of hubs and a damaged rear derailleur. The derailleur is repairable though I have a spare rear body plate from one that had been crunched on the front plate.
Looks like I am going to be drilling and replacing rivets for this repair, but it will be functional again. I sometimes suspect I work to hard to revive C&V parts,but I hate to just toss them out when they are damaged a bit. Good thing the rivets are still available to me.

Unfortunately, in the seller’s eBay photos, the Impero appeared much lighter in color. But that’s a risk I took, since accurate color representation is something I know not to expect across digital platforms and devises. And when I asked him to measure the pump w/o head, end to end, fully compressed, turns out he gave me the measurements for a relaxed pump. I won’t be able to mount it at the top tube like I had planned. And at this point, I’m not so sure I want to use it. But once again, I’ll take responsibility for not asking him to confirm that he he took the measurements as I’d requested.

While perusing ebay.it, I happened across some appearance fees (probably for racing at the Vigorelli) receipts dated 28 April, 1940. There was a Bartali, but it was a bit spendy for me. But, I did buy out what was available for the Bianchi team - Olimpio Bizzi, Cino Cinelli, Aldo Bini and Adolfo Leoni.

I got a pair of vintage Avocet Cross shoes in need of a some sole re-glueing courtesy of brockd15 . They are very comfortable. More comfortable than my Avocet 30s. A tiny bit long in the toe, but definitely within workable range. Thanks again, Brock!

Things are really looking up.
Today my highly polished Suntour Cyclone bottom bracket spindle arrived. It was sold to me by Mad Honk and I want to thank him publicly for doing this for me. I now have the complete Suntour Cyclone crankset and bottom bracket assembly.

I ordered these but in my haste didn't realize that they were tubulars...I just got excited to find some 650c'-23.
I will most likely send them back because I think I might have better luck finding a 650c clincher...does anyone have a front-wheel (clincher or Tubular) that is already built that they may want to part with?
I need a front for my Bertoni build.

A 36 h rear hub!
I got it used from ebay for 7 dollars. Seems in ok shape but I'm putting in new bearings. I enjoy building wheels. Now just waiting on my wheelsmith db spokes.
