okay...I see it now...good thing we decided to go with no changes...I would have been totally lost!

GVA finished at the front of the bunch but just too much zip from Juju on the way up. Good on the three of then for staying away.

Hoping that WVA turns out to be a good pick. I couldn't not grab him but did worry he would get caught in the GC machine.

I'm playing the long game with Martinez over Ahlaphilippe. Just wait.

stage three...looong downhill and flattish way from the top of the big climb to the finish. if a breakaway doesn't succeed (wanted to add lutsenko to either squad but couldn't make it work),
should come down to the sprinters. picking caleb ewen ftw stage three...from worst (today) to first (tomorrow).

anyone else brave/deranged enough to be object of ridicule and scorn with some prognostications?

i like some of the graphics for the tdf tissot game but i can't find a screen that shows a running total of points earned
by riders...like rider rankings by points earned. i've found how to see a rider's points earned for any particular stage
but not a cumulative total. maybe someone else has found it?

I found enough of a view in the Tissot league to see that I'm no longer in last place despite missing stage 1. That's really got to hurt those who made an honest effort at it.

On stage 3 prognostications, I like Ewan but he lost two guys out of his sprint train. I don't think lightning strikes twice for Kristoff like it might for the God of Thunder.

Dare I say Cees Bol? With Sagan in top 5, of course.

The viewer defaults to tomorrow's stage and closed off. Look at yesterday's stage and you can see the roster.

This may be your Tour, ooga-booga. All this Covid mania seems to be just the disruption a deep thinker like yourself needed to dive through the rabbit hole and excel.

What a move by Ewan. From nowhere to the front, around Sagan with a little more flair and success than Cav managed the last time he tried.

Been busy and passed on this one. What an awesome win by Alaphillipe!! Can't wait to see the replay today to see Caleb's win, but he's got a lot of cunning!

I decided not to renew my NBCgold account, I've been lucky that so far NBC has twenty minute recaps of each stage.

I'll be watching EF, what a huge bummer on Martinez yesterday. The guy seemed like he was losing his $hit on the side of the road waiting for a team car. Silver lining is Higuita looks poised to take the white jersey soon.

Looks like TJV is not agreeing with my prediction for a WVA green jersey, making him work for the GC instead.

I'm going to jump on this hand grenade, give stage 4 to Ahlaphilippe, and toss another acorn ooga-booga's way. Though if there is any point for Valverde being in France this time of the year, tomorrow would be a day to show it. I'll gladly be wrong for the old hombre.

the first real mountain stage...thinking all the teams with a fighting chance of wearing yellow in paris (team jv, ineos, uae, ef ed, astana, arkea, trek...) try to send a rider in whatever break that forms.
de gendt will need no invitation and may initiate the proceedings. someone will have a bad day and take themselves out of any realistic shot at winning the overall. my suspects are pinot or either of the bora boys.
yates was the first name that popped into my head to win the stage but he's too close to yellow for dqs/alaphilippe to let him go. yates' teammate, nieve, is very capable and either he or chaves may have a go
to try and get their boy the yellow jersey and just might. with all that said, going with higuita ftw.

i'd love to see a valverde stage win tho...for the sake of both my teams.

and i'd also love to see astana send tejada in the break to see what he can do,

thankx for the attempt to jinx me, slcbob. wholly unnecessary tho as you undoubtedly know. i will fade faster than the bubbles in cheap champagne left out overnight.

the romance of ewan from worst to first was swoon-worthy. i guess there's something to saving those legs for other battles...

I tried a new selection strategy this year. I deliberately didn't pick a couple people that I really hoped would do well. That way, if my team falls a bit short, I have another chance to be happy about the race.

Experimenting without Caleb, Primoz and Julian.

Phew Roglic, that guy seems unstoppable. Alaphillipe mentioned he didn't want to waste the team strength to hold yellow but he hung on today. Yates seems well positioned for a guy only going for stage wins.

Uran is stronger then the young'ins it seems - him and Hugh seem ready to go, thank goodness.

No intentional jinx. That was an honest attempted at beknighting you, though it is a two-edged sword. Any schadenfreude that trickles my way will certainly be laughed off. 'Tis but a flesh wound!

I'm slipping to the middle of the pack in the Velogames general population but it seems like many of us are. It looks like the early breakaway has formed in our league. It's still a long way to Paris!!!!

I'm happy to not be DFL in Tissot land. Never count a good man out. Or me.

Looking for something to say about tomorrow. Give me a moment. Maybe one of my puncheurs will come through.
