Torpado Frameset

I painted this about 5 years ago and it’s never been built. Has scratches from hanging for so long. I don’t know anything about it except it’s 20.5” and it’s cool. $200 shipped.

model appears same one employed to create the ItalVega Nuovo Record bicycle

are fork ends stamped whilst dropouts are 1010's?

likely from the late 1960's to early 1970's time

lug pattern looks to be Agrati "CORSA", bottom bracket shell is Agrati

---

kitting for the ItalVega edition included:

Stronglight 49D chainset

Campg NR gear ensemble

Universal 61 brakes

3TTT Record stem/bar set

ordinary headset

plain steel saddle pillar

Lyotard 460D pedals

wheels were tubulars made with FIAMME Red Label rims and Campg NT large flange 36 hole hubs

drive chain and gear block were Regina Super Corsa

colours included brown, olive and blue

---

T-Mar has written that Agrati acquired Torresini in 1985.

yes, frame a midliner as in two down from the top sort of model

the three main tubes are Columbus DB

for a frame of this size one would expect SL

if there was a specification for the taper tubes do not recall it

the "usual suspect" in such cases is of course Falck...
