Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

C02 Inflator Cartridge Source

I'm getting nearly low on 16g threaded CO2 inflator cartridges and would like to pick up a dozen or so. What are today's better online sources for these?

I've been looking around and my favorite so far is home depot trying to sell just one of them for 6.64! For most online bike retailers I've seen, they seem to be selling them for close to 2.50 each.
I know they are cheaper through the beverage sites but if that's what you do, please list some go-to online retailers. Thanks.

Amazon has a 12 pack for $25.
I'm curious to know how many CO2 cartridges you have to go through in order for a few dollars difference in the price to become a factor? I doubt I use more than 3-4 a year.

Amazon has 20 for $30. Ebay 30 for $26. I have been happy with Ebay.

If you look at brewers supplies on, say amazon, you can usually find them cheaper. I bought a 12-pack of threaded 12oz cartridges for ~$22

1 box of 10 16 gram CO2 threaded cartridges for $18.50 with free shipping. No connection, just a reasonable price.

I talked to my LBS, they sold me a tub of 30 20 gram threaded cartridges for $45 earlier this spring. You might want to check with your LBS.

Be careful buying the beverage ones - make sure you are buying threaded if you need threaded. I didn't pay attention, ended up with unthreaded. I found a cheap unthreaded inflator, now carry that until I use up the unthreadeds!
