Anyone recognize this "T" panto?
Going through my parts bin I found this bar stem. It came from a swap meet, wrapped around Guidons Philippe bars which were fitted with Universal Mod. 125 brake levers. The bars and levers were the reason for buying at the time.
I think I have seen that boxed "T" before, but I can't remember where. No idea either whether it represents the maker of the stem or the bike brand it was made for.
I've been searching the 'net for a couple of hours, but have found nothing so far. The stem itself is fairly crude, and has no other markings whatsoever, not even a minimum insertion mark.
Any ideas?

I had actually looked at Torpado earlier today, as one of the obvious candidates, but found another "T", not this one.

Torpado for the win. I had had a torpado super strada.....nice panto and it punched above it's weight class in terms of ride, handling etc. This was with allele double butted tubing. I will do n+1 if i ever run into the higher end super light in super shape and my size

+1, it's definitely Torpado. I believe this emblem was used only after Agrati-Garelli purchased the brand and factory from Torresini in 1981. As happens in many purchases, the new owners re-designed the graphics. This was an inexpensive method to let the consumer know that the brand was under new ownership and being revitalized. As part of the takeover, Agretti-Garelli also pursued the USA market much more aggressively. Torpado had little USA presence in the 1970s and were much more common in Canada, particularly Ontario and Quebec.

Torpado name a compound word from TORresini and city called home PADOva.

Just reaffirming Torpado, although it's not necessary. Those will usually fetch $45-85 on eBay in great shape. They came on a lot of the mid-80s Torpados, along with panto'd stem, big rings, fork crowns.
I picked up a bike with same stem from @Essthreetee which (he disclosed ahead of time) is cracked. I purchased a 2nd one after the fact, also cracked, eBay seller didn't want it back after I sent pics of the crack. The only reason I'm replying right now is just to say those stems apparently had a penchant for cracking OR it's totally possible I also have very good and equally bad luck!
I still need one that's not cracked, but I'll eventually get there.

Why not? I'm told that it's an old trick used by many wives. They come home with something like a new pair of shoes which they couldn't resist because they were "such a great deal". The they suddenly "realize" that they have "nothing to go with them". Consequently, they have to rush back out and buy a complete new outfit with new accessories to match the shoes. Several hundred dollars later, she's happy, there's another one of her outfits on your side of the closet. and she's wanting to make some more space by trying to get rid of some of "your old clothes that you never wear anymore". I'm told that it's a vicious cycle (pun intended). Maybe it's time to show them that two can play that game.

Yikes! I was okay with losing closet space, but you've got me worried over my bike storage space now..

I married mrs non-fixie mainly for her sense of humor (and before you jump to any conclusions, she can cook, too

Yeah, I'm very good on the wife vs. bicycle front too. My wife did club racing before we started the family, she's got her bicycle coach certification and once, when I was undecided on a bicycle, she went back by herself and bought it for me. She's fine with anything n+1, as long it's not another wife.
