Anacortes Bike show
This show is part of the Open Streets event and I was told Bob is largely responsible for it as well so it should be another good one like his was.
The only detail I know at this point is the date, Sunday, August 25th and Open Streets is on FB as well.
Hopefully @Igotdibs will chime in here too and offer up the 411 on it.

The question was asked in the Bob's Show thread if the Anacortes show has a ride. Heck yes! In fact, a few of us were talking of past routes and thinking of routes. I'm sure that within a week of the show a ride, with possible variations, will be mapped out. If not, I can lead a ride around the refinery

Clearly western Washington is now the center of the C+V bike universe. That must explain skyrocketing property values out there.

Who's going to this ? It's an enjoyable event. I am going to have to get out of here on the 7 am ferry but I'll be there for the ride at 10.
thanks to Don, Steve and Jerry for putting on the show.
Even tho I'm not a "Professional Bike Collector", looking forward to a meet up with the crew.

I'm catching a ride Jacob Russell. I don't know of any others local yet - maybe they'll check it here. I like this event, it's always super laid-back and there are some nice places in town for lunch as well.

From Jerry Ziegler, who is sharing coordination duties this year:
Everyone,
We have nearly 50 bikes signed up for the 12th Annual Skagit Classic Bike Show in Anacortes next Sunday. The location for the show is at 5th Street and Commercial Avenue. Take Hwy 20 off of I-5 and it is about 14mi to Anacortes. We will be located next to the Gere-a-Deli Restaurant, and parking should be available off either side of Commercial Avenue on 5th Street.
Check in at the Registration desk and they will direct you to the proper location to display your bike. If you want to participate in the bike ride, it leaves at 10am, so plan to be there about 0930. We will have coffee and pastries available during the morning both before and after the ride. Hopefully Gere-a-Deli is open since they are one of the best places to get lunch.
We look forward to seeing you next Sunday, the 25th.

This is a great event. Normally, I am there with a half dozen or more of my oddest bikes, but I have family commitments this year and cannot make it.
I am totally bummed and expect lots of photos!

It was really good seeing everyone today - and even riding with a couple-few, too Weather was perfect and the turnout was super. I didn't count, but it seemed there were at least 50 bikes present.
I got some decent pics once my camera came off the fritz, so I'll post them, too. But just wanted to call out @merziac for coming all the way from Portland with two Merz's and a '58 Paramount (two of which are conveniently depicted in the photograph above) - and say again I'm sorry we didn't get but a couple minutes to catch up just before you took off back for home
If y'all down Portland way come up with a nice day-ride/vintage event in the next month or so, hit me up and I'll come down.
Stand by for pics...

It was great to see your Bianchi in real life, it is truly stunning after you working it over, many oohed and ahhed while I was standing there, very cool to be a bystander when people are enjoying themselves from what they see, great stuff.
The one pic of the ride really makes me disappointed with myself not getting there for it, wasn't in the cards, I would probably have to come the day before to make that happen.
I wouldn't hold my breath on a Portland ride, but I would encourage you to go on the next ride @gugie puts together, that man's got it going on for rides.
Good to see you again.
