Going to be riding my Electra Cruiser Fat Tire bike a lot this month . I’m setting my goal at five miles a day average , 150 for the month .
I’ve been neglecting my Cruisers to get longer rides .
My Cruisers will be back into my riding this month , including my Single speeds .

I've ridden further than I imagined I would this summer. This month wedding season kicks in so not as much opportunity to ride. I'm going to set a goal of 150 and spend more time smelling the flowers along the trails.

September Goal: 250 miles

I made my goal of completing three 300-mile months in a row, so now I'm going to scale back my cycling goal for September to 250 miles. I am hoping to do more hiking and some strengh training, for a more balanced fitness approach.

September 1 - 11.2 miles
September 2 - 11.8 miles

September to date: 23.0 miles

2019 to date: 1294.3 miles

took the Cruiser 1 out this evening for another 3.2 miles

rode the Electra Fat Tire bike this morning into town and back . Not many folks at the park around the Town pond , but I did get one “nice bike “ as I took a moment to sit on a bench by the pond and snap a picture .

09/02 23.6 miles 13.7mph avg

Goal, more miles than last month's of 85...

I use Wahoo Blue SC sensors, paired to my Samsung S10+ phone with the Wahoo fitness app. I've had some difficulty lately with the mapping, it doesn't seem to map my ride quite right. I used Strava at the same time, and it shows a 4 mile difference as well as a 4 mph difference as well. Grrrrrr.

Just getting back into biking for the first time since the 1990s. The nice thing about restarting is that a lot of rides end up being the best ride I've had in years. Hopefully posting here will help me stay accountable.

Goal: 150 miles

9/02 2.99
9/03 10.13
9/04 13.87

9/4 -15.2 miles

MTD: 15.2 miles First ride in 47 days due to a medical issue that required minor surgery but a lengthy recovery off the bike. It felt wonderful to ride again. The good news is that it was 23 degrees cooler than the middle of July. I am afraid my fitness is ruined and it will be another long slog back. I was a week away from my goal ride and just waiting for some cooler weather. Well its cooler now but the days are shorter and I will be out of town after one more day for ten days before I can assess my fitness and a new training plan. I just tell myself to keep pedaling and that I'm lucky to do so.

GOAL: tbd

spent the rest of the morning swapping saddles . Although the Stock Cruiser saddles look cool on my bikes , it’s hard to beat the comfort of a good mountain bike saddle . The wide saddles felt nice on my sit bones , but were wearing out the side of my inner thighs.
