Until a few years ago I was active in winter sports, hiking, camping, snow shoeing and skiing. The best part was becoming friends with cold and snow where a cold wind on your face, (within reason) is invigorating and snow was something to go out and play in. I no longer have the lung power for those activities. Yesterday I watched a number of videos of back country skiing and was reminded of how much I enjoyed them. One favorite video is of a very popular ski mountaineering race from Zermatt to Verbier with hundreds of participants. Now that I've safely passed 12.000, my next goal is a blue star. After that goal is realized, I may feel I'm ready for a plastic bike. I've also begun considering a 559 conversion on one of my road bikes. Does one want a frame on the smaller side for one of those, or does a tall one work just as well?
I have two 58 cm frame sets, which feel too cramped for everyday riding, and the rest are 60, 61, 62.

Hot brown is dish in Kentucky - I've had it in Lexington. Turkey, some kind of bready element, gravy, iirc... can't remember the rest. It was fine.
As far as the list, I'm at 18 and I've lived in two places: about as far north of the Mason Dixon as you can (while still being in the US) and NYC.

And speaking of being south of the Mason Dixon, as some of you will see on Strava, I'm back in VA.
The previously undisclosed reason for our extended visit over Christmas was my father in law's pancreatic cancer diagnosis. The reason for the return is that he had a turn for the worse shortly after we left, landed back in the hospital and they updated his outlook, shortening it to days-to-weeks.
Upon receiving the news, the wife and kids flew ahead by plane, just in case it went quickly (the boy was adamant about being here for Grandpa) and then I packed up the necessities (and cat) for an extended stay and drove solo over the course of two days.
FIL is in rough shape, wife is taking leave to assist over sleepless nights, while I'm assisting with the day-to-day, provisioning and cooking, etc.
Fun stuff.

Frame size shouldn't matter. Typically smaller wheels help smaller frames more due to getting rid of toe overlap issues.

650b and c conversions are not optimal, and likely 584, simply because I wouldn't be able to score them locally. 559 is what is here. I have given in no more thought than this, after seeing your conversion. I have a pair of Tektro 559 kicking around. I am a slow mover, so moving from this stage to actually doing anything might take a year or more. But I will make a point of looking further into it in the near future.
If you have brake reach issues, which I assume you might, you may be able to go for the C&V analog to disc brakes: drum brakes.
Also, depending on tire size, you may have significant pedal strike / ground clearance issues. I can drag a heel on the ground pretty easy on my conversion if I want to, but I am not an aggressive rider and don't pedal through turns so pedal strike is basically a non-issue for me.
