Component transfer from 1984 Trek 660 to 1984 Trek 760?

I have a 1984 Trek 660 with original components that include Campy N Record derailleurs and cranks. Sadly, the 660 frame is a bit big for me. I am looking at smaller 1984 Trek 760 frame that originally had Suntour Superbe cranks and derailleurs. Will the components from the 660 transfer over to the 760 frame?

Most al the parts, likely yes. Devil details like brake reach, brake nut fit, post diameter, ft der mount yet TBD. I suspect these two frames shared most critical dimensions and component driven designs but had different tubing or component packages. Andy

The two frames were identical and the differences were in the components with the 760 having the higher-line group. Here is a link to the 1984 Trek catalog giving all of the frame and component details:
