Singlespeed & Fixed Gear "I still feel that variable gears are only for people over forty-five. Isn't it better to triumph by the strength of your muscles than by the artifice of a derailer? We are getting soft...As for me, give me a fixed gear!"-- Henri Desgrange (31 January 1865 - 16 August 1940)

Giftmas is coming, I always like to give and receive some new books. What have you read lately that you'd recommend to someone else? Post away, ladies and gentlemen.

Here are the last three good books I read:

D'oh crap. I have wrecked myself, for I failed to check myself (and do a search for "reading" instead of just "books").

I read porn mostly but I feel a bit uneasy about giving it to friends and family.
Especially my sneaky uncle. You mention the phrase 'Secret Santa' around him and he starts giggling like a school girl then locks himself in the bathroom.

Enjoy

In addition to "Last Chance to See", "The Salmon of Doubt" is a posthumous collection articles, interviews, unpublished and unfinished work of Douglas Adams. Neat to peak into the life and thought process of a very gifted humorist/writer.

RIP Douglas Adams, hope your towel is serving you well, wherever you are.

I've heard lots of good things about The Curious Incident...

I'd recoomiend Running with Scissors by Augusten Burroughs.
