Facing headtubes new pake track frame
I just got a pake track frame and I was wondering if anyone could tell me if I need to face the headtube. This is the first bike I'm building and any help would be appreciated. Thanks. (I'm posting this in the ss/fixed section too)

If you can see paint on the faces, it probably could use a facing. Honestly, you may be able to tell by looking at it. You'll definitely be able to tell later if you don't face it and it needed it by the gap you'll see between the frame and the headset cups.

If you assume that the fork is perpendicular to the fork bearing surface and the steerer tube is concentric to the fork and the bearing cups are true and perpendicular to each other....
Then why worry about facing the head-tube?
If you feel the need, scrape the paint off the mating surface of the head tube. As a rule I just skwish it all together and call it a day.
