WTB: Huffy 7-Eleven bike or frame

As the title suggest, looking for a Huffy 7-Eleven team edition bike or frameset. Around 55cm (C/C) but would consider other sizes.

Let me know what you have.

That's going to be a tough find. It was a two year bike (1987 & 1988) and most of them broke in the size you're looking for. Ben Serotta was forced to use ultra light True Temper tubing against his better judgment.

There are a LOT of "tribute" bikes out there so it's important to know what you're looking at when you find a possible original. All of that said, if you do find one, be ready to pay (more than you think you should) as even one moment of indecision will result in someone else stepping up and getting it.

Glad its not my size, I've wanted one as well. Almost got an olympic Murrey made by Serotta but was too poor a college student and it went for only about 20.00 more then I had. Such cool bikes.

A friend of mine had one of those. The paint on his chipped just like that too. What kind of paint was used on these?

Hope you find one. You know, on group rides you might get some ribbing about the brand, but don't get huffy about it.

The number boss looks to be bent back near the center line of the hole to the NDS.
