Giant Cypress DX vs Sedona DX W

I looked at both these bikes locally. Liked the "step through" on the Sedona better but the 700C tires on the Cypress better.
The bikes look very similar. I just do pavement and concrete trail riding. Price is essentially the same.

Any advice or relevant info would be greatly appreciated?

Thanks, Scubaquarius

We have one of each - the Cypress DX is mine and the Liv Sedona is hers. (Ladies version of the Giant Sedona)...ours are a few years older models though...Short of the step through frame on the ladies version and different size rims, most of the other parts are the same type and quality (brakes, saddle, etc.). I've ridden both and they both have about the same riding position...slightly upright. She likes the handlebars higher than I like mine.

My wife really likes the step through frame. They've both been good bikes - I have a lot more miles on my Cypress than she has on the Sedona but neither has needed more than the most basic maintenance. You can't lose with either.
