My goal for June was 400 miles. I flew past that and will be close to 500 mile.
So I'm making my July goal 500 miles.
7/2 66
7/5 40
7/7 15.5
7/9 44
7/10 20
7/12 20.6
7/16 164 (Ride Across Indiana, RAIN ride)
7/17 8.5
7/23 24
7/24 21
7/27 15
7/28 36.5
7/31 27
MTD: 502.1 miles
Made my goal! It was rough. After the 164 mile ride I had to take a week off because my body was exhausted. Then I just eased back into the saddle. Second time over 500 miles!
So I'm making my July goal 500 miles.

Low expectations this month, setting a goal of 200 miles. At the pace I've been riding, I don't see myself reaching 4,000 miles by the end of the year

I'm in for July, shooting for 200 miles. Not much, but I've had some health issues that had restricted me a bit. Little did I know that my wife was keeping score last month and I hit over 140 miles. I need to push that now. I have an inhaler for my excise induced asthma now and my last few rides on it have felt great.

7/31 — I rode in my first road bike race, the (short) race around Bass Lake in Starke County, Indiana. A friend met me there, so we grouped together for the first 6 miles, and then put the hammer down in the last 2. I was riding my steel Trek from the 80s, and I'm happy to say I passed 2 spandex-clad club riders at the end, one on a fancy Giant and one on a CF Cervelo. My goal was to complete the race in under 30 minutes. I completed in 26:24 and averaged 18.4 mph. Out of 70-some riders, I placed 13th overall and 7th in the 46-55 age group for men.

Well, June pretty much stunk like a skunk. Fell 46 miles short of my 250 mile goal. Too many days of "just not feeling like it" when it came time to ride, despite knowing I should be "out there" on my bike. So, I'm going to shoot for 250 miles once again and see how it goes for July.
July 01 = 13.51 miles.
MTD = 13.51 miles of (at least) 250 miles.

I hit 354.57 miles for the month of June, my first month riding. I am aiming for 400 for the month of July, 450 for August, 500 for September, and 550 for October. After that as much as possible when the Wisconsin winter weather kicks in. I need to figure what I am going to do for the winter months.

30 mile commute on Friday on the cross bike and 20 miles on Saturday playing in my favorite playground on the Full squish mountain bike.
Picture is the confluence of the North and Middle forks of the American River in No. CA. If you look close you see mountain bike trails in every direction. It's a dirt and gravel paradise!
My commute on Friday included a pit stop at my favorite LBS to test ride a new cross bike (carbon frame, 1x SRAM drivetrain, hydro brakes). Threw a leg over a Santa Cruz stigmata and went out for a few miles. Looking for a new race rig for the fall, which also can take 40 mm wide tires for the occasional longer gravel race.

Usually, 200 miles would be a good month for me. However, I am gearing up for RAGBRAI, my first organized ride of any type. Last week I did 127 miles. I hope to do another 375 miles leading up to the event and then the event itself, which should be a minimum of 418 miles. So my goal this month is 800 miles.

Twenty miles on the dirt on my hardtail mountain bike in my favorite playground. Did a fair bit of climbing at 2,500 feet.
MTD 70 dirty miles.

New to cycling and just got my bike on June 30. Would love to hit 100 miles for the month, we shall see. In it for the long haul so I'm going to take my time building up the time/miles per ride

30 miles today with a couple of that walked as I killed a tire and had already used my Co2 to inflate the tire to get me as far as it got me. https://www.strava.com/activities/630354023

July 2 - 22 miles
July 3 - 28 miles
July 4 - 22 miles.
Not a bad start. July is a peak cycling month, so might as well shoot for 400 miles.
I also plan to ride my age on my Birthday at the end of the month. (52)

My goal is a paltry 200 for July. Newbie - 1st goal. Haven't tracked before so I'm curious now.

Well, I'm leading 100 miles of club rides this month, so I got that going for me, which is nice. Tailgating at the Firecracker 400 got in the way of riding Friday, Saturday, Sunday; Monday was an "I don't feel like it" day. Now it's Tuesday and I've left my helmet at home, so no ride home from work. The shakes are setting in.
