1983 Peugeot UO14
More collection reduction going on with another one that I haven’t ridden in 2 years. Research points to this being a 1983 UO14 that was made in Canada by Pro Cycle? Correct me if I am wrong. One year only on the mystery Mangalite tubing too I think. It came to me with ripped out spokes on the nds rear, so it needed a new hub. As everyone knows, the heliocomatic rear is so desirable that I got a replacement here to put this back to stock. New bearings and the rear cones are good with a wee pit or two when I did the wheels two years ago. New cones in front. I half thought of parting this out so as to keep the very nice Stronglight 99 crank and the nice Weinmann concave rims. I do have the stock Peugeot branded stem.

Better than gas pipe?
Upright stem added
12 speed
The famous rear hub
Gearing is 13-30 six speed with a nice 38-50 front. The rear derailleur is the long cage SX410, and it seems to shift nicely. Tons of clearance on this one and a possible 650b candidate for someone. I was thinking $175 for it. 27” wheels on this and 56cm ctc square on sizing. No delivery but I can meet partway for someone. Thanks
