ISO Chromed Fork

SEARCH IS OVER. THANKS!

looking for a chromed fork. fully chromed preferred, but wouldn't mind partially chromed surface, if chrome'd underneath the paint. 700c size.

1. wouldn't mind cleaning up work for surface freckles & rusts, as long as sounding.
2. will be paired with 53cm Masi 3V frame. doesn't have to be long-ish steerer tube (1").
3. threaded or threadless also don't matter. will find a headset accordingly to the fork.
3. less-rake (aka modern) preferred. straight blade is also fine. not into an orthodox restoration. tube marque also don't matter much, as long as not a French or C county gas pipe.

this is for the very last project before fully closing the shop. as some of you've noticed, i've recently purged lots of stuffs here. just want to give the frame a life one last time. too cruel for it just being a wall deco. i'd given lots of love to the frame. #emotional

700c or 27"? I have both but only one available right now. It is the 700c model in great shape except for one thing - the eyelets have been removed (hard to see unless you are looking). Sloping crown and forged drops, of course. If nothing else surfaces, the fork is yours for twenty bucks US plus cost to ship. The $20 covers gas to and from the city, a hundred+ mile round trip.

700c. (sorry didn't specify). this sounds interesting. wasn't particularly looking for an eyelets, so not a problem. will PM, sir!

I've got a Tange chrome fork for sale that would fit a 53 frame perfectly. It can be seen on my for sale thread here: https://www.bikeforums.net/classic-v...ano-parts.html

I'm updating with new fork pics for another member.

Which fork did you get? That will help the rest of us know which forks are still on the market vs. what was purchased and rough values. Thanks!

none of the ones mentioned above, sir.
got a unicrown columbus EL fork with campy DOs through another forum member's help. it wasn't chromed, but i couldn't give up an EL with a bit more 'modern' rake design. might go with multi-color theme or have it locally plated*. will update when i have it. and good luck!!!

best
