Computer with inverted display

Like the Cateye Quick. Is the inverted display visible at night?

I think most of the modern computers (Garmin, Bryton, Wahoo etc ) all have this feature. My 4yr old Garmin 520 does.

Isn't an inverted display hard to read with everything upside down? :-)

I wish my computer screen would do that at night. Bike Forums has got to be the absolute worst site I visit, for blinding bright white backgrounds at night. There have been a few times when it's just been too bright to look at, and my eyes won't adjust, and I have to close my browser because i can't see anything.

I wish BF would have a skin available with an inverted black background like my Iphone (or my Garmin at night) that's really the way to go, and hopefully it's what we will be seeing more and more of on the Internet, as time goes by.

There is a plugin that inverts the display on browsers, but it also messes with pictures, so that's not ideal. The one I use is called "high contrast"

control-option-command-8 on a mac used to flip everything, keeps pictures the same now.

The reply from Cateye. I don't think they answered my question. Sounds like a facebook reply.

Thank you for contacting us and we would be happy to assist you.

The Cateye Quick does not have a backlight required for night time screen visibility.

The analog sensor can be mounted on most fork dimensions using the included rubber base and zip-ties, but is only intended for front wheel use only given its limited sensor range.

The Padrone Plus may suit your needs. Details and pricing can be found below:

https://www.cateyeamerica.com/CatEye...-Bike-Computer

Use the code SERVICE-DEAL20 to save 15% off all regularly priced products on our consumer website.

Let us know if we can be of any further assistance.

It works great at night.

Garmins can be configured to do that after sunset, which they can calculate from GPS time and location.

My Edge 800 released in 2010 does that, my old Edge 500 did not.

Have sometimes thought it would be nice to have a delay before the dark mode kicks in. Garmin does this right at sunset when there is still plenty of light. Another nice to have feature would be to have backlight always on in dark mode (after sunset, really).
