What is missing on this ST-5700 shifter?

I have this right sided Shimano ST-5700 shifter. Works well enough if you help it. Is it missing a piece holding down this piece?

Yes, there's supposed to be a little tab in the back of the lever retaining the end of the front actuator arm bit.
