Which is the best chain? Shimano vs. Connex, (Campagnolo?)
Currently I am thinking about purchasing a chain for my road machine
I have 100% Ultegra. I used to ride on dura-ace chains (like them a lot) but now I am considering Connex chains (908 type) - I heard some good opinions about them from my friends.
What are your opinions? When you used both, which you preferred? Shimano should probably have better shifting, however connex is easily removable + is probably little bit stronger...
Thanks for your help

SRAM PC-99.
Good chain, VERY strong, easy to remove, cheaper than Wipperman and Shimano.
Performance has them for $30.

The best ? Wipperman titan (around $300)
Best value for the money. Don't know.
For 10 sp HG there not much of a choise.
9 sp I go for HG93 or DA out of old (bad ?) habbit

I am a SRAM fan personally PC-89 or 99. Want light? Go for the hollow pin versin of either. I heard that because the Wipperman (what you are calling Conex) are SS or Ti that they last a LONG time but also may cause cassette and or ring damage in the long term. Don't know if that is true but I have heard that claim made more than once so...take it for what it is worth.
