Looking for front light/lamp bracket (?)
Hi everyone,
Recently bought a 1971 Raleigh Sports. It has the Raleigh Heron bracket attached to the headset, but it looks like there's another bracket or sleeve that was used to attach lights to this bracket.
Can someone tell me what this part is called so I can try to track one down? Unfortunately I seem to be blocked from attaching a photo. I'm trying to attach a new vintage style light headlight.
Thanks in advance!

The bracket you’re looking for was usually part of the lamp unit itself. Are you trying to retrofit some modern lights to it or do you have a lamp without that bracket?

I don't know what they're called, but clamp makes sense to me.
I've been looking for a clamp that attatches to the heron bracket as well. It seems they came on the lamps, as already mentioned, but it also seems like they can be separated from the lamps.
I figure I will end up rigging a bracket that bolts through the heron bracket, or wraps around it as the original clamp does since they are hard to find.

I'm still blocked from posting a photo, but yes, trying to retrofit a modern vintage-style light. It's hard to explain, but the connector is basically a metal loop, but I could remove that an add the "clamp" someone else posted.

Wow, I've been a member since 2008 and I can't even quote a post with a photo in it....
Anyway, yes, the second photo is the one I was trying to post earlier. If you have the bracket attached to the light I'm definitely interested. Thanks!
