Trek Emonda disc - Front Wheel not centered

Hello everyone. I am new to the forum, with a question about my first road bike (sorry for my bad English, I am not native speaker). Really appreciated in advance!

I bought a second hand Trek Emonda 2020 disc brake. It looks almost new, with no scratches and no signs of a crash. But I noticed in my first ride that t
he front wheel is not centered in the forks (one side is 5mm to the fork, and the other side around 9mm). My knowledge regarding bicycle mechanics is quite limited, but it seems like a big gap to me.
I would appreciate your insight about it (seems I cannot post pictures):
1. After reading about common problems, I narrowed it to:
dish that would cause it to be not centered, or the forks must be bent.
2. Is it normal? Problematic? Should I worry about it? I mean, can I ride the bicycle without any big issue, or it is dangerous to ride it is this condition? Maybe I am worrying too much...

Thank you in advance!

If the bike rides well, tracks straight and steers evenly to both sides with hip movement only (as in no handed) then regardless of what the fork/wheel look like the bike is fine. I believe this bike has a carbon fork that uses a through axle to secure the ft wheel. If so then nothing can be done to change the wheel's fit to the fork excepting replacement of the fork. Andy

Thank you for the kind and prompt reply Andy. As you mentioned, I didn't notice anything particularly worrisome: it seems the bike rides well in general. But I will try again steer to both sides with my hips, and pay attention to how the bike responds. Thanks again!

Is it the hub that's not centered or the tire in the fork that's not centered? If the hub seems off-center, that's normal on a disc brake wheel since the disc side has to be wider. If the tire/rim is not centered, that can be corrected by properly dishing the wheel. Disc brake front wheels have to be dished unlike their rim brake counterparts.

Thank you for the kind reply HillRider. The hub seems ok, it is the tire that is not centered. I guess that dishing the wheel could be the solution. I contacted the store where I bought it and they said they can take a look at it, so it would be great if they can correct those 2mm approx. of difference. I hope it is not the fork though (fingers crossed).
Best,
