Replacement part for rear shimano 105 break (BR 5800)

Hi there!

The spring in my rear broke yesterday. I called Shimano, they don't offer replacements for this part. They said my only chance of finding a replacement was to call local bike shops to find a working spring on a spare brake. Unfortunately, I tried calling many bike shops in my neighborhood without any success.

Do you guys have a spare compatible spring by any chance? 😁

Here's the model: Shimano 105 BR 5800
I believe Ultegra and Dura Ace springs from the same generation are compatible.

Here's a picture of the brake: bit (dot) ly/2Gmbc8T

Thanks 🤗

You'll be lucky to find that most any Shimano caliper of the same reach and era will have a compatible spring. Andy
