What size is the front derailleur clamp - 28.6 or 31.8?

Is the bottom bracket for a road bike 68mm or mountain bike 70 something mm?

Thanks

Bottom bracket is for a road bike. Let me check on the clamp size.

Can I ask what method you used (buffer/foil)? or what polish you used(any specific brand)? That is a really nice presentation

If these were anodized (I don't recall if they were), I used EZ Off. Spray on, 10 minutes, rinse off.

Scratches removed with sandpaper-

Polish was done with Mothers polish and flannel rags (old flannel sheets).

Here's another set I did- this one was more difficult- the cranks weren't as finely finished as the XT crank arms and they were in worse shape- the chainrings were anodized red in the "trough" where the drilling is.

I did everything by hand, but I'm sure a buffer would have sped the process up considerably.
