Vetta?
Can anyone tell me anything about this frame? The seller claims it is SLX.

There have been several Vetta brands in the bicycle industry. The most famous is the Swiss brand of bicycle parts, accessories and trainers from the 1980s. However, there was also an Italian Vetta brand of frames and bicycles. That fork crown and webbed BB shell tend to turn up on 1990s models. While I wouldn't rule out SLX, by the 1990s it's use was declining in favour of Columbus' newer tubesets and those from Dedaccia and Oria. The only way to tell sure sure if it is SLX, is to examine the inside of the BB end of the down tube, seat tube and chain stays. SLX (and slightly thicker/heavier SPX) will have five helical ridges in the tubes at this location.

Thanks good insights! I wasn’t able to get to the frame in time before it sold. $100, hard to believe!
