Made in the '70s is my guess, but maybe later in that market. I'm surprised it doesn't have cottered cranks. Puch used the same branded Soubitez taillight on the Rugby Sport in the late '70s-early '80s. Groovy! The model name must mean Tour(ing) de France.

Its a Mountace MT18, sold as a mountain bike so either way, its a very nice frame.

They don't, do they... Otherwise seems pretty correct, discounting the Concor saddle. Pretty much the top end of the price range. Cheers.

And I really like how well-appointed this Masi in Denver is, that fade is just perfect

https://denver.craigslist.org/bik/d/...155805296.html

"You can call me Kare,,,,oh wait, that particular name is getting a lot of press these days," What a beautiful package - frame, paint, and build. Wow! Just Wow! Did I say wow already, though I could do without the chromed fork. Fade a Masi? Too "not Masi" for me... Must be a weird AZ thing... This frame came from Tuscon, (painted in the early 90's I think) It has "Paint by Moro" on the NDS chainstay, painted in a similar style to "Karen". That's a fair bit of coincidence, hmmm,,, Must be all that new-agey energy around Tuscon.

Well, I bet the Masi was painted in Tuscon!

The Bad. How could anyone do this to a GIOS-torino Super Professional with silver "coins"... The paint and fade is really nice, much brighter metallic than in photo.

Finest! My size! Seller also has another ad for this bike and a small Schwinn Le Tour (12.2, it looks like), both for $275.

My spider-sense is tingling really bad with this one. Look at the pics and the more you see, the more you see stuff that "just ain't right!" This ad probably would have been a decent candidate for the whacky thread, but since it is a Raleigh Professional, I decided to put it here. Almost every pic contains something cringe-worthy!
