Sure, I’ve ridden a trike. I think the last time was in about 1968.

Let’s see some proof of life photos of your alleged trikes.

You can buy one at Cabellas for $400 as long as you are over 7 years old, under 5' 5" tall, and weigh less than 200 pounds. Anything with direct drive like this trike is truly a toy. A friend and I bought a similar trike to take to a Boy Scout camporee a decade ago. The idea was for us to show and ride our own recumbent trikes (Greenspeeds) and lend the kids the POS trike. It lasted a couple of hours until an older scout managed to bend the frame when he put too much force on the pedals.

Mobo Triton Ultimate Three-Wheeled CruiserMobo's Triton Three-Wheeled Cruiser is highly maneuverable and low to the ground, perfect for hours of excitement for your youngster. Sturdy steel frame adjusts to fit riders up to 5'5" perfectly. Chainless design minimizes maintenance. Cushioned bucket seat fights fatigue, while the recumbent style reduces stress on arms and shoulders. Simple steering mechanism with easy-to-operate caliper hand brakes. Inflatable rubber tires. Safety flag enhances visibility. Ages 7+.

41"-51"L x 26.5"W x 25"H. Wt: 39 lbs. Wt. capacity: 220 lbs.

I think I will stick with one that has a decent set of gears.
