I use lights during the day at times. Early summer mornings on tree line roads there are deep shadows. And in the winter when the sun is low in the sky and cars can't see you.

Congratulations on the new bike. How does the ride quality of the Roubaix compare to your Diverge? The reason I'm asking: I'm riding a Diverge and contemplating getting another bike, possibly a Roubaix. I don't need to go faster; just interested in the feel of the bike.

Don't tell my wife, she' ll think I'm turning fredly , but I'm thinking lights front and rear to be seen when I'm on the road as opposed to the mups around here.

Since getting hit by a car can be pretty life changing, we cyclists need to take all the responsibility for our safety. Drivers surely don't and telling you their sorry and didn't see you won't make you feel better as you're laying there waiting for the ambulance.

Mine are withing arms reach so I can turn them on and off as needed while riding.

You must either be quite vast or be quite dead.
