Triplize a Shimano 600 double?

I've installed the double ring version of this crank on my wife's bike, and she needs the granny gear.
Is this something I can add on? I believe I'd need to source the granny, the longer axle, and possibly longer sleeved allen bolts to go through the third gear?

The 6206 and 6207 are very different cranksets.
The 6206 is effectively the 600/XT level triple crank with the 110/74 BCD pattern.
The 6207 is a 130 BCD double crank.

So different crank entirely.
The original set up that came on her bike, an '88 ST400, was a suntour that had the threaded holes to accept a granny gear, but I swapped it for the shimmy 600 to use a set of 165mm cranks.
So find 165mm cranks and a granny for the suntour...
I wonder if I can find a full triple with 165's on fleabay...
I'll put up WTB post in the for sale section 👍

If a 34T granny is small enough, you could get one of those dual-pattern 110/130 chainrings to use as the triplizier.

Here's my wife's Dura-Ace 7400 in 165 mm, with a Stronglight triplizer.
I like the Stronglight, but it's more work than the TA, Willow or Thorn, because it doesn't have clearance for the 5 shelves off the inside of the spider arms, so you need to saw the shelves off. Not too difficult if you're handy, and you have a vise with soft jaws, a hacksaw, and a flat file to dress down the saw marks. Takes me about 15 minutes, but most people would be reluctant to take a hacksaw to a nice crank. Especially when there are other triplizer rings that don't require any sawing/filing.
My advice is get a TA. They're very well made, out of good hard alloy, and look great. $54 plus shipping from Bike24 in Germany https://www.bike24.com/p2141592.html

I swapped the short cage on a shimano 600 for a longer one from another shimano sis RD. That helped a bunch with the small gear combinations.

We aren't going up mountain passes just the odd steep hill, and that would likely do the trick.
This is what I'm working with, it came with a long cage OEM, and the original crank had the spot for a granny, I just swapped it out to use the 165 crank arms for her.
